Nearly a decade ago, the Dragonfly Transplant Fund began fundraising with a small golf outing in Eastern Iowa. Volunteer organizers hosted just 38 golfers and raised $5,500. Through this annual fundraising tradition, the golf outing has grown to over 100 golfers. In 2024, we raised over $65,000 at our golf outing. We are proud to have raised over $300,000 for the Dragonfly Transplant Fund with the University of Iowa Center for Advancement. 

We are so happy that we are able to celebrate our 8th year of this fundraiser in 2025! Our volunteers are especially thankful for all of YOU, our supporters, and their continued cheerleading. We have been working hard to support transplant nurses as well as patients, their families, and their caregivers at the UIHC Transplant Center. With your continued support, we are one step closer to our ultimate goal of creating an in-person resource center and lounge for the transplant community at UIHC Transplant Center.
