2025: A Year in Review with Dragonfly

Over the last 12 months, it is clear that the Dragonfly Transplant Fund has accomplished great things that have a positive impact on the transplant community! Your donations of time, talent, and treasure have enabled us to make a significant impact with all our projects. You and all the people who personally got involved were the catalyst that kept us on track on a day-to-day basis.

All the programs and projects that Dragonfly is involved in to help serve our mission become increasingly enjoyable for our volunteers year after year! This includes (but is not limited to) the transplant 5Ks, public grant celebrations, our annual Valentine’s Day brunch with the staff in the UIHC Organ Transplant Center, tours of the Stead Family Children’s Hospital, restaurant benefit nights, our Dragonfly birthday party, and more! In 2026, we invite you to join us. Follow our adventures on Facebook for updates on our events.

As co-founder of Dragonfly alongside Deb Brown, I am motivated by my passion to move our mission forward. I feel a personal responsibility to ensure that every dollar and every action you entrust to Dragonfly aligns with our mission to enhance the need for organ and tissue donor awareness and to help support transplant patients, their families, and caregivers during the transplant experience.

The positive response we receive from our supporters seems to grow constantly, and for that, we want to say thank you.

Your support in 2025 continues to drive the Dragonfly Transplant Fund forward.
