Dragonfly Announces 2025 Scholarship Receipient
In 2025, the Dragonfly Transplant Fund is honored to host our most recent Dragonfly scholarship recipient, Brittany Hohoff, as one of our special guests at the Golf Outing & Fundraiser scheduled for August 15, 2025. Hohoff will be invited to share a few words at the golf outing reception held at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort.
Hohoff currently works at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as a Nurse Living Donor Coordinator. Below is a special message from Hohoff regarding her scholarship acceptance from Dragonfly.
“As the Dragonfly scholarship recipient, I was given the opportunity to attend the 16th Annual Living Donation Conference in San Antonio, Texas. By attending this conference, I was able to network with other coordinators from around the country and learn about the current trends and updates in living organ donation. Despite working with living donors for 12 years, there is always something new to learn. With the information I received at this conference, I was able to make changes and improve our process.
In addition, as the nurse living donor coordinator, I get the opportunity to provide all living donors with a goodie bag that is sponsored by the Dragonfly Transplant Fund. Providing the living donors with these bags helps put a smile on their faces when they are not feeling their best.”
