Dragonfly Connects with the Community at the 7th Annual CANA Community Safety & Wellness Fair
The Dragonfly Transplant Fund was honored to participate as an Information Station Sponsor at the 7th Annual Community Safety & Wellness Fair hosted by the Cleveland Area Neighborhood Association (CANA) at Cleveland Park in Cedar Rapids.
Hundreds of community members gathered for a day filled with education, resources, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with local organizations dedicated to improving lives across Eastern Iowa.

Throughout the event, Dragonfly volunteers had the opportunity to share information about our mission, connect with transplant recipients, donor families, healthcare advocates, and community supporters, and raise awareness about the financial and emotional challenges faced by transplant patients and their caregivers.
Events like the CANA Community Safety & Wellness Fair remind us how important community connections are. Every conversation helps spread awareness about organ donation, transplant journeys, and the support available to individuals and families navigating life-changing medical circumstances.
We are grateful to the Cleveland Area Neighborhood Association for organizing another successful event that brings neighbors together while highlighting the many organizations working to strengthen our community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared their story, asked questions, or learned more about our mission.
Together, we continue to build a stronger network of hope, support, and healing for transplant patients and their families.
