Dragonfly x Iowa Women’s Basketball
On February 23, 2025, the Iowa Hawkeyes narrowly lost to the No. 3 UCLA Bruins, 67-65, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. What made this game special was four of the guests in attendance: Robert, Sharon, Steve, and Megan Isaacson & Steve and Megan Isaacson — supporters of Dragonfly!
In August 2024, Dragonfly Transplant Fund was able to giveaway a four-pack of VIP tickets to an Iowa Women’s Basketball game in 2025 as part of fundraising efforts for the 7th Annual Dragonfly Transplant Fund Golf Outing & Fundraiser. We received a special message from the Isaacson family, who was able to attend with this special prize package.

We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible opportunity to attend the Iowa Women’s Basketball game on February 23rd, against UCLA. As the lucky winners of the Ultimate Fan Package at your annual Golf Outing Auction, we had an unforgettable experience.
The package included four T-shirts, a pre-game tour of Carver Hawkeye Arena, and four courtside seats to the game. From the moment we arrived at the arena, we were treated like VIPs. The pre-game tour was fascinating, and we learned so much about the history of the team and the arena. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the game itself.
We cheered on the Hawkeyes from our courtside seats directly across from the Hawkeye bench, and the energy in the arena was electric. The game was close and exciting, and we were on the edge of our seats until the final buzzer.
