Iowa Donor Network (IDN) recently published their 2023 Annual Impact Report. Since 2019, the number of organ donors has increased by 40% and the number of transplants by 21%. Additionally, IDN has seen a signficant increase in volunteer hours and fundraising totals.
In 2023, Iowa Donor Network reported a record number of over 1,000 tissue donors. Iowa Donor Network (IDN) recently published their 2023 Annual Impact Report. Since 2019, the number of organ donors has increased by 40% and the number of transplants by 21%. Additionally, IDN has seen a signficant increase in volunteer hours and fundraising totals. Another accomplishment to recognize is that Team Iowa, the representing team for the Transplant Games of America, has again brought medals to our home state! Team Iowa is comprised of athletes who are either living donors, transplant recipients, donor families, or donation supporters who participate in the Transplant Games of America.
