Our Dragonfly Co-Founder, Ed Brown, had the opportunity to connect with Tully Jackson, a transplant recipient from West Des Moines, Iowa, at the Iowa Donor Network 5K this year.

On February 9, 2023, I received the call every recipient dreams of. We drove to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and I received a new liver (thanks to my hero donor) on February 10th, 2023 (also my wedding anniversary)! |
| After my transplant as I recovered in the hospital, kind people came into my room and spoke to us about the Dragonfly Transplant Fund. They brought a bag of goodies and gift cards for us to use in the hospital. This was such a thoughtful gesture and allowed my husband to use the gift cards as he visited during my recovery.
